This place has the environment that
I can be a better welding engineer.
Since I enjoyed the welding practice I got at the school, I was looking for a company that can make welding
work, then I found Sempei Kogyo. It is also a reason why the seniors of the school joined the company.
Sanpei Kogyo, who always won the top prize at the welding competition in Fukuyama City was fascinating for me,because I was thinking that "I'd like to get better welding."
After I joined the company,my seniors frequently talked to me, so it was easy to get in touch with my seniors and juniors. I am often laughing with jokes now. It seems to be a good reason to think that interpersonal relationships at workplace are good.
What is the content of the job?
Mainly welding of pipes.
For example, repairing facilities that have had holes. I am also repairing a device called a hopper for
flowing ore (such as a huge funnel).
If it is in the JFE campus, we are also handling canning construction
(construction of three-dimensionally assembling things of steel by saw, drilled, bent, etc.),aditionally
rebuilt old parts and replace them.
After that we are also repairing gas pipes and water pipes.
Welding is carried out by connecting the steel plate on the place where it is connected to the original
pipe or leakage.
What is the point of skill-up environment?
We have set up time to work towards qualification.
Sampei Kogyo is very focused on technique tradition, and acquiring. In concrete terms, if you experience for several years it will let you go to get a medium-sized truck license and various other qualifications. In addition, we sometimes don't do construction work on site until the full hours of work, but we have set up time to practice for acquiring qualifications. I think that it motivates employees and it makes environment where engineers grow up naturally.

I always win a prize at the welding competition in Fukuyama city. Fukuyama's technical companies gather and compete for the appearance of the weld and also whether the inside is welded properly. Sampei Kogyo is a representative of Fukuyama City and has participated in many prefectural competitions. Both groups and individuals are in the top position. I think that it is also the factor of growing up engineers, because juniors are supported and trained by people who are at the level of winning.

When did you start to feel confident in your work?
It is when I won the welding competition. It was truly confident that I won the championship. There was also a change in the work. Until I had won the championship, I had many arrangements and clean up. However, from that point I gradually be able to do welding work.
Is there anything you care about when you work?
Do not get hurt. Do not hurt as well. My work deals with fire, so confirming the remaining fire (confirming that there are no leftovers after welding) thoroughly.

I feel comfortable the moment that what I was involved with is completed. The other was a special memory. When I was young, I won the tournament at the welding (shielded metal arc welding Department,COXNUMX arc Welding Department). I was happy, because I practiced everyday and achieved results.

I have my wife, and three my son ,one my daughter. The oldest son is XNUMXth grade,and daughter is XNUMXth grade, the second oldest son is XNUMXnd grade. The youngest son is XNUMX years old in nursery school.

At the time of joining the company, there was a time that I was worried when I could start welding. However, we can not let people weld who are not technically yet to do construction things of valued customers. I was often said from my seniors, "Practice, and you'll become recognized."

Do not hurt my colleagues as a foreman. I do not get hurt myself, and I am doing fine working. Working safely is the best. We handle not only fire, but also big items. It leads to major injuries if you don't care about it. If things are broken, they can be fixed, but people will not heal if they get injury. It causes inconvenience to both companies and customers. safety first.
For students, is there anything to remember,or to get the skills in order to be active in Sampei Kogyo?
I think that it is good not to be smart. Besides that, how much you'll like your job is important. Also, I think it important that you'll be interested in the job you're assigned to. In addition, it going to be easy to get what you want to do as a job if you say initiatively like I want to weld,or to take a machine to pieces, or to do finishing.After that, I want you to select the company after looking the work, not just judging by money or job-opening information. Because I think that you can understand the relationship of the company well if you come and see.

It is a mask to protect yourself from scattering sparks and light when doing welding work. In fact, what I was wearing at this time is a mask for the competition. There are differences depending on such as wearing comfort and the size of the field of vision. So if you use it that suits you properly, work efficiency is good.

My hobby is kendo.
I have been playing kendo since I was a child. My three children have learned kendo because of my influence. The picture is when I practiced with my daughter (XNUMXth grade). I am looking forward to seeing the children doing their best well. I was able to connect with a lot of people by playing kendo. Winning is important, but I also hope that it'll be chance to connect with other people.
